Basic information:

“All The Love Needed” is a romantic short story book written by Prathmesh Kamble. The book is his second novel following Our Journey –Opulence of Love. The book was published in May 2021. It is a book with 106 pages divided into 22 short chapters. It costs not more than Rs.150 and the links for the same are provided at the end of the blog.

Plot Summary:

“All The Love Needed” is divided into two parts; the first part has the protagonist’s high school life described and the latter has her college life. As the title goes by “All the love needed”, the book narrates how Vidhi, the female lead faced an unfortunate ending in her love life until she found the one, Dhruv. After facing a harsh and disheartening faith in love in her high school days, Vidhi lost hope and went to follow her dreams or one could say passion to another city for further education. The book also follows another plot with Aisha and Shrishti, best friends of Vidhi. Both Vidhi and her friends had different love lives and destinies. The story keeps its pace fast, it is always on point and never unnecessarily creates deviations, and as you turn the page a different twist completely changes their lives. While Vidhi joins her new college she finds new friends and slowly falls in love with an extrovert guy. Her life in that city with friends, adventures, learning, love, joy, hatred, and jealousy is narrated by the author. As finding love isn’t easy for anyone it wasn’t for Vidhi too. When reading Aisha and Shristi’s plot you would definitely need some tissues whereas you would enjoy the description of the foreign location.

My comments/views:

The writer, Prathmesh Kamble has a specialty in writing/narrating big plots in short stories which if you have read his first book would agree too. “All the love needed” has also been successful in doing the same. There are so many characters with different lives and emotions living in one book and the writer justifies them all. Both timelines were narrated well. One must be patient to get to the real drama but that’s the best part here, as the book is very on point with no unnecessary plots or descriptions the writer takes you to the main plots quickly. His books are like dreams coming true or perfect fiction; because it has those plots which one wishes to have in their life and unfortunately they are too unrealistic to happen and hence connect the reader to the book.

Recommendation:

If you enjoy reading short romantic-drama stories then this book is for you. It gets over even before you realize, it’s a short book which one can read in one go as well. “All the love needed” narrates the love stories of two pairs and the romantic emotions of multiple characters in one book.
